Kathy was very professional and went above and beyond in taking care of all my needs during the whole process involving the sale of my property. After uncovering a few things about my real estate transactions handled by Bulman I am retracting my previous statement. First, we had our property surveyed and discovered neighbors occupying our land with a pool deck and they said the previous owners allowed them, not disclosed to us. Second, we were not made aware that the seller signed off on a Town variance a couple weeks before we signed the P&S, which the next door neighbor was constructing an addition, Brad Hutchison was involved in the sale of both houses. Third, another neighbor encroached on a space between our garages and he said the previous owners allowed, another serious item that was not disclosed to us by the realtor or seller. Bulman was involved in the sale of our previous house and there were a series of realtor errors that caused a 3 month delay in finding a buyer, bottom line my house was priced incorrectly by Bulman. Other houses came on the market the same day of which Brad Hutchison was the listing broker but did not disclose to me that my house price should be readjusted considering the other updated houses coming on the market. Be aware that a realtor is a ‘self-serving salesman’ whether you’re the buyer or seller!

So much gratitude for Jenny Duff and the whole Brad Hutchinson Real Estate team for representing me on both my sell and my buy. Moving back to the city presents unique challenges, including lots of travel back and forth, timing of the move, etc. Jenny was knowledgeable, patient, and on top of all the details. I have personally used the services of Mark Hutchinson and Brad Hutchinson Realty to buy my home. Mark is knowledgeable and attentive, and made the entire home buying process easy and less stressful. Mark helped me with my first house. Being a first time buyer I didn’t know what I didn’t know and the information comes at you like a fire hose! I had been looking around for awhile and not finding anything that matched my budget and needs. I initially didn’t want to bother him with my first time ignorance but in hindsight I should have started with him. Funny how so many people you know suddenly want to be your broker because they “just” got their license. I had to tell a friend that I didn’t want to be their guinea pig for my biggest purchase to date. I’d much rather go with someone that’s been in the biz. After looking at a few together I stumbled across a house down the street from my apartment. I woke him up at the crack of dawn and told him to get me in!!! We saw it later that day and I think it was the sun coming into the back porch that sold me on it. It was a Cape style similar to the one I grew up in and I could see its potential. I told him to “get’er done”. I didn’t want to hear all the behind the scenes stuff or deal with the nitty gritty I just wanted to know when it was done. Even with a few bumps on my end we still got it completed pretty fast, or so my friend says. Her words, “ that was the fastest house purchase I’ve ever seen!” I very much appreciate how quick it went. It’s not something I would want to spend lots of time on. I don’t plan on moving but I did tell Mark that if I kick it first I will put it in my will that he can be the one to sell it again. Granted by then it will be a mini mansion. The nice thing about working with someone that knows the area is I can still ask him for contacts to places like a dry cleaner, tub refinisher etc. It really helps to work with someone who knows people. At this point I would call him a friend and feel extremely comfortable referring him to anyone! I have very high expectations in efficiency and customer service and he meets them all with a smile. I want to also mention that there was never any condescension. I found that when you are learning an entire industry in a few months time from someone that does it for a career they often expect you to be up to speed overnight. This is common, rude, and a quick way to loose a client. Needless to say this was not Marks way of service. Call him first!
